Aviation medical certificates
Antakalnis Aviation Medical Centre performs initial and repeated medical checkups within one business day, unless additional tests are required because of the health condition. Initial examination takes on average 5 to 7 hours and repeated examination 1 to 3 hours.
First Class Medical certificate
A First Class Medical certificate is required for: for airline transport pilots (airplane and/or helicopter (ATPL), commercial aviation pilot (airplane and/or helicopter) (CPL), flight navigators (FN), flight engineers (F/EL), learner pilots (MO), multi-crew pilots (MPL).
Validity of class 1 certificate:
Class 1 certificate is valid for 12 months (1 year).
The certificate is valid for 6 months: for pilots over 60 and pilots on single-pilot commercial air passenger aircraft and over 40 years of age.
